Two backs and one lay and today they all come from Southwell. Over to you, Follow The Money crew.
Today's Follow The Money movers come from Southwell where an additional "Jumpers Bumper" meeting has been added after the cold snap ravaged the schedule. All races are National Hunt Flat races over two miles on the Fibresand surface.
Our first back is in the 13:45 where Ferdy Murphy's The Hollinwell is [2.72] favourite after being a high of [7.4]. He is a fairly useful chaser and has the highest rating in the field. Add to that some course and distance form, winning a similar "Jumpers Bumper" event back in 2010, the only one in the field to have run on the surface, the money suggests he was way too big early on today and must have a big chance.
Two races later and we have our bigger back. In the 14:45 Alan Swinbanks Saviero is [9.0] in from [15.0]. He has a full set of bumper, hurdles and chase victories although has been out of sorts recently. He is however one of the more talented contenders in the race and the money suggests he could be involved at a decent price.
Finally we move to the end of the card for today's lay. In the 16:25 Glen Countess has moved from [2.48] out to [3.7]. Brendan Powell's mare is a former Point to Point winner and ran with promise when beaten well by a Willie Mullins horse in a Fairyhouse Bumper last time out. However, that form hasn't held up and punters are coming in for a couple of others ahead of this one.
