VERDICT:
Dorcas Lane ran well in second place last night but unfotunately not quite good enough to win. In the finale at Kempton on Thursday the race has a different complexion following the defection of the forecast favourite Saddlers Bend. The door may now be open for MASTER OF DANCE. He's tumbled down the weights from a career high 83 when trained by Richard Hannon but this doesn't look too competitive and trainer James Given has struck form.
