Today's FTM brings bets from Ffos Las and Wolverhampton

We start at Wolverhampton in the 15:30 over 1m1f handicap (class 4) where Borug has been well supported, moving in to 5.85/1 from 9.617/2. Borug last won a race at Kempton two years ago, and he hasn't come close since then, finishing ninth last time out at Newmarket. However, this is a significant drop in class and the money suggests a better run is expected today.

Over to Ffos Las in the 15:50 Handicap over 5f where Verus Delicia has drifted out to 2.962/1 from 2.021/1. The 3yo filly has been in fine recent form, wining her last two races over 6f at Ffos Las and consequently is favourite to win today's race. However, she is raised 5lb for her latest win, is dropping to 5f and her best form is on good to soft, so today's forecast soft ground may not suit. She probably still remains the one to beat today but punters see a weakness.

Finally at Wolverhampton in the 16:00 1m1f Maiden Stakes, Kota Sas has been backed in to 6.6011/2 from 10.58n/a. The unraced 4yo gelding sire is Cape Cross, sire of Sea The Stars, and trainer Roger Varian has a record of 7-17 at Wolverhampton. It's difficult to assess an unraced horse's chances realistically but the money suggests a good run is expected today.

Roger Johannessen lands Betfair Poker Live! London Event

Norwegian Roger Johannessen became the latest winner of the Betfair Poker Live! London event when beating 157 opponents to win the popular tournament on Sunday February 19 taking home over £15,000 and a promise to return for Betfair's next live event in Prague in May.

The Betfair regular made short work of the final table before getting the better of Englishman Leigh Ralph heads-up. The final hand saw Roger with 68 off suit up against AQ but a pair of 6's on the flop and no further help on the turn and river saw Roger Johannessen land the top prize and a package to Prague.

"I was really thirsty!" quipped Jonhannessen when asked about the brevity of the final table before bigging up Betfair on the success of the event.

"I loved it. It was well organised as usual from Betfair and I had a lot of friends over here from my home town Bergen.

"I'll be following you guys around for the rest of the Betfair Live series."

Among the regulars from the Fox Poker Club were the usual contingent of Scandinavians, and our Betfair Pros, Hans Vogel and John Tabatabai.

The weekend kicked off in lively style with our Betfair Poker Bust Out Lottery. The final two players in the three-hour timed freeroll tournament won two free packages to our next event in Prague. Also on offer were prizes including two iPad 2s, a Kindle and an Xbox 360.

Also present on the second day of the tournament at the Fox Poker club were two writers from the Betfair Poker Twitter account. Perhaps not used to the experience of live poker, one joked after failing to last too long in the $10K GTD turbo side event

"My knowledge of poker is based on playing online, so I assumed everyone dressed as a cowboy/old lady/pimp/milf.

"It turns out that these are merely characters, or "avatars" and real life players wear normal clothes. I dressed as the old lady."
