Our new Czech mates Mlada Boleslav got us off to a cracking start for the week yesterday by holding our odds-on lay to a 0-0 draw, so let's hope we can build on our early week form.
We're off to the land of meatballs, beautiful blondes and Abba today for a clash between Akropolis IF and Sirius in the Swedish First Division.
Sirius come into this match topping the form table, having won four and drawn two of their last six matches, but their opponents are hardly in poor form themselves, especially at home, where they've won two of the last three and scored eight goals in the process.
While Sirius are sitting pretty in second place in the table compared to Akropolis' ninth, it's the latter's away form that has been the problem, which is why I'm willing to take a chance on laying Sirius at odds on. Akropolis know how to find the back of the net in their tiny Stockholm stadium, should score at least once and that should be enough to earn at the very least a draw.
I'm Sirius about Akropolis' chances here and that's why this is my best lay of the day.
