Yet another person has been arrested in connection with the April 14th indictments by the US Justice Department. Ira Rubin has been charged with operating an illegal online poker site for US players. He was arrested on last week in Guatemala. The online poker arrests were made in coordination with shutting down major online poker room websites, such as PokerStars and UB.com. While the US allowed those sites to revert to the control of their owners in order to facilitate the repayment of funds to US players, the arrest of Rubin shows that the scenario is far from over.
