"Surely Deccan could hold on for a spell to make a trade worthwhile, especially as they beat Delhi right at the start of the competition?"

Ed Hawkins is hoping that the Chargers have been underrated for this contest in Hyderabad on Thursday

Deccan
Deccan look to be one of the best balanced sides in the tournament but they just haven't fired. Kumar Sangakkara, with a duck last time out, may be feeling the effects of non-stop cricket for the last two months. Shikhar Dhawan comes into the game on the back of a 50 against KKR.

Delhi
Delhi suffered a comprehensive defeat to Kochi last time out. The key was their much-vaunted opening pair of Virender Sehwag and David Warner falling cheaply. Warner top scored when the sides met previously.

Match odds
In terms of runs scored Delhi (before Wednesday's matches) were the best batting side in the tournament. Deccan are the post profligate bowling side. So it is easy to reckon that Delhi should come out on top in Hyderabad. Unfortunately the market agrees with Deccan as big as [2.40] and Delhi [1.63]. Surely Deccan could hold on for a spell to make a trade worthwhile, especially as they beat Delhi right at the start of the competition?

Top Deccan bat
Opener Sunny Sohal top scored for Deccan when they met Delhi earlier. He hit 62 from 41 balls and is likely to be a chunky price for a repeat. Sangakkara made 49 from 35 balls in the same game.

Best bet: back-to-lay Deccan @ [2.40]
