Punters expect another defeat for Sanctuaire (red colours) today

Punters expect another defeat for Sanctuaire (red colours) today

"Agglestone Rock's latest effort over hurdles should be good enough to give him a chance here, but it was an emphatic 15 length win on the Flat last start which shows he’s in top form."

Today's Follow The Money comes from the meetings at Sandown and Haydock.

We start at Sandown where there has been a huge drift on Sanctuaire in the 13:30, moving from [1.73] out to [2.38]. Paul Nicholls' runner made a belated return to form at Ayr last week with an easy win, which could be down to his breathing operation. The concern with today's race is it will most likely be a tactical affair with the small field, and given Sanctuaire often doesn't settle in his races and it looks like punters don't want to risk backing him at short odds.

We stay at Sandown for our second bet where, in the 14:05, Kazzene has been heavily supported from [11.5] in to [5.3]. David Pipe's runner was decent on the flat in France before making a winning debut over hurdles at Kempton in January. He was disappointing last start but the betting suggests that a much better performance is expected today with the addition of blinkers on his handicap debut.

Finally we move to Haydock where in the 17:10 Agglestone Rock has seen solid support moving from [3.65] in to [2.52]. His latest effort over hurdles should be good enough to give him a chance here, but it was an emphatic 15 length win on the Flat last start which shows he's in top form. The going and distance looks fine for him so he can be supported with confidence today.
