Most major poker events have two beginning days, and the second first day at EPT San Remo has come and gone. The poker tournament drew 549 poker players on day 1B, making the total playing field 987 players. The players have come from 57 different countries to play the European Poker Tour event. The total prize pool has been calculated at €4,786,950. There will be a guaranteed €930,000 for the winner of the EPT San Remo. The leader at the end of the second first day is poker pro Ruben Visser.
