Online poker player PRAETORIANER hit a bad beat recently worth near to half a million dollars. The Bad Beat Jackpot was triggered by the poker player at online poker room Party Poker. In a bad beat jackpot when one player has a very high hand and should win but is beat by a higher hand the jackpot is triggered. In this hand he was beat when his opponent hit a flush on the river. PRAETORIANER won the jackpot for $479,101 while his opponent won $239,550 and the other players at the table each collected $34,221.
