Can Manoori kick off a successful day with a win on the level?

Can Manoori kick off a successful day with a win on the level?

"With the form of Manoori's last race looking strong, she looks to have every chance of notching up a victory in an easier race today."

Today's Follow The Money come from the meetings at Nottingham, Fontwell and Cartmel.

We start at Nottingham where Manoori has seen solid support coming in from [3.45] in to [2.14] to win the 14:40. Chris Wall's filly made a very encouraging reappearance in a 5f handicap at York. She was staying on nicely up the stands' rail when confronted with a wall of horses nearing the final furlong and had to settle for sixth. With the form coming out of that race looking strong, she looks to have every chance of notching up a victory in an easier race today.

Moving to Fontwell where in the 15:35 Knight Legend has been easy to back drifting from [2.1] out to [3.9]. Sarah Humphrey's runner had to drop to a selling hurdle to end a long losing streak two starts back before following it up with an unlucky second last start at Fakenham. That run was encouraging but, at 12-years-old and with only one win in his last 30 starts, punters aren't keen to invest in him in his first run at Fontwell. He looks like one to avoid today.

Finally we head to Cartmel where in the 17:35 one time smart flat performer General Eliott has seen solid support moving from [8.0] in to [4.4]. Making his debut for the Barry Brennan stable, he's also making his handicap debut after showing ability in better company than this at his last two starts. With the money down today it looks like a big run is expected for his new stable.

Recommended Bets
Back Manoori @ [2.14] Nottingham 14:40
Lay Knight Legend @ [3.99] Fontwell 15:35
Back General Eliot @ [4.4] Cartmel 17:35

Follow The Money: Three meetings, three bets, three winners?

"With Alan King's stable emerging from the doldrums, a bold show appears on the cards for Havingotascoobydo with the drop back from 3m looking ideal."

Today's Follow The Money movers come from the meetings at Taunton, Ludlow and Southwell.

We start at Taunton in their opening novice hurdle race at 14:20 where market leader Romulus Dartaix has shortened in to [2.24] from an early [3.1]. Trained by Alan King, this one improved on his bumper form when narrowly beaten on hurdles debut by a more experienced rival with solid form at Warwick last time out. Robert Thornton again takes the ride and a repeat of that form should be good enough today in what looks a similar contest.

Our next mover is at Ludlow where Havingotascoobydo has been backed in to [3.65] from [4.7] in the 15:30 contest. This six-year-old gelding makes his handicap debut today from what looks like a fair mark following a couple of promising efforts in maiden and novice hurdles. With his stable emerging from the doldrums, a bold show appears on the cards with the drop back from three miles looking ideal.

We go to Southwell for our final mover and a negative in the 16:10 handicap where Cobo Bay has drifted out from [2.72] to [3.7]. Prolific in claiming company in recent times Cobo Bay has struggled in handicap company to get his head in front despite running respectively. With what looks a harsh rise of two pounds in the weights today it is easy to see why backers are not falling over themselves to back him despite the weak nature of todays contest.

Recommended Bets:
Back Romulus Dartaix @ [2.24] Taunton 14:20
Back Havingotascoobydo @ [3.65] Ludlow 15:30
Lay Cobo Bay @ [3.7] Southwell 16:10
