The online poker network that is home to poker rooms like UB.com and Absolute Poker did some damage control recently. Amid rumors of bankruptcy Cereus Poker Network issued a statement declaring they are here to stay. While admitting to downsizing, the network said that it wasn't going bankrupt. The poker site did say that it liquidated its workforce and will rehire about 20 percent of them. The customer service center operated by Cereus Poker Network has ceased operations, leaving some customers worried about their ability to withdrawal funds.
