The Star's comeback continues at Ditcheat...

Nothing major or new to report with Kauto Star today, so I will keep it short and sweet.

He had his physio and an hour on the walker, and then we gave him a strong canter over ten furlongs with That'll Do and Rowdy Rampage.

All was fine.

In fact, I bet he wishes we had left him in his stable and gave him the day off as it was pissing down!

We will look to step up his work next week, and I will give a further update tomorrow.

A bit of Kauto's swagger has started to return.

We have just had it confirmed this evening that Ranjaan (pictured with Ruby Walsh) has a small hairline fracture in his tibia, so is out of the Triumph Hurdle. It never rains, it pours. *** Earlier today, Paul updated on Kauto Star's recovery plan....

A day after breaking the news that Kauto Star suffered a fall while schooling, Paul Nicholls updates on the recovery plan ahead of Cheltenham.......
