"With the trip and testing conditions in Tarateeno's favour, and the handicapper continuing to show him mercy, the money suggests he can gain his first victory for two years.

Today's Follow The Money comes from the meetings at Ffos Las and Leopardstown.

We start at Ffos Las where Tarateeno has been supported from [7.2] in to [5.2] in the 14:55 contest. After an unsuccessful spell over fences, this nine-year-old has shown signs of encouragement since returning to the smaller obstacles and was placed last time out at Fontwell. With the trip and testing conditions in his favour, and the handicapper continuing to show him mercy, the money suggests he can gain his first victory for two years.

Over to Ireland for our next selection where there has been a significant looking move for Apache Drums, backed from [19.0] in to [7.6] to land the 15:35. This unexposed sort hasn't created too much of an impression when finishing down the field in two handicap hurdles this season, dropping a few pounds in the process, and steps up to 2m 4f today. However with the yard in form, Tony McCoy booked and the money down there seems to be a marked improvement expected.

We go back to Wales for our negative where Normally has drifted from an early [2.3] out to [3.35] in the 16:00. Although a winner over course and distance last time out on his first start for Peter Bowen, the eight-year-old has clearly had his problems and returns to the course fairly quickly in his bid to follow up. Punters seem to think the 7lb rise could prove too much.
