There's nothing too tempting for David Johnson on the Flat today so it's off to Wales for the Timeform Radio tips
Some tough handicaps and some solid, but poorly priced, favourites makes betting on the Flat rather tricky today.
With that in mind, it's off to Ffos Las for today's best bet, and that comes in the novice chase at 16:20. Siberian Tiger is a horse who has never won the number of races on the Flat or over hurdles that his ability suggests he should and it could be a similar story over fences. Although winning on his chasing debut at Haydock in May, he reverted to type when beaten at odds on next time and he looks vulnerable at around [2.0].
I'd much rather side with chasing debutant Mad Moose who looks like he should be just as good over the larger obsatcles as he was over hurdles. He was of similar ability to Siberian Tiger over hurdles, and getting 7 lb from his main rivals, the two really should be much closer together in the betting.
