Will you back at Activate at Haydock?

Michael Bell has a trio of horses in action this weekend at Haydock and HQ. Here he discusses their chances...
Haydock, Saturday
14:05, 2m Handicap
Activate: He was a progressive handicapper last season and he must have a leading chance here on his reappearance. Any more rain would be a bonus and the way he has been working at home - with the 98-rated Tactician - suggests he has improved from three to four. He still looks well handicapped and he must go close off this mark.
Newmarket, Saturday
14.20, 1m Handicap
Biaraafa: This looks a warm contest but she is working well and she is ready for this step up to 1m now. She beat the colts at Yarmouth before not having things go her way at Newbury last time. She is a straightforward ride so, by having Ian Burns on board, it will hopefully be 7lb wisely used.
16.35, 6f Maiden
Sovereign Debt: He is a 2yo who has been pleasing me in his home work. He is by Dark Angel who has made a great start to his stallion career and although he will come on for this first run, I would be hopeful that he could be involved in the finish.
