"Sunset Boulevard can be a tricky customer, but he’s holding his form well so far this year and, despite his quirks, he has an obvious chance in today’s weak handicap."

The racing might not be the greatest, but it is Timeform's Easter Buffet today and the best value wager of the day is the 2/11 that the head of Irish racing, Patrick Jupp, makes it in for the free food, despite it being his day off. However, there are also bets to be had at Folkestone...

It's not very often that a Hannon juvenile is opposed, particularly at a course like Folkestone, but Chillie Billie, who came in for support in a competitive minor event at Newmarket last week, can build on the promise of that effort to get off the mark. His greenness that day prevented him ever being able to quite get on terms with the leading pair, but the penny was dropping at the finish and he showed more than enough by coming third to think he can get off the mark in this afternoon's weaker contest.

Waabel enjoyed a good spell earlier this year, winning twice at Lingfield, and he's already got some form on turf, so today's contest looks ideal for him to gain his first win in that sphere. Only Black Baccara looks likely to put up any opposition for the early lead but Waabel has the better draw in 6, and if he can grab the stand rail as expected then he'll take plenty of pegging back, so at [6.0] he's an attractive bet.

Sunset Boulevard can be a tricky customer, but he's holding his form well so far this year and, despite his quirks, he has an obvious chance in today's weak handicap. He'd have gone close to winning at Kempton but for meeting trouble last time and his main rival, Thundering Home, is on a lengthy losing run and unpredictable to boot.
