The US State of Iowa has likely declined supporting online poker. While the bill for online poker players has not died yet some say it is unlikely to move forward. The poker law would allow poker players to get online and play with regulated and legal poker rooms. The poker bill would restrict online poker playing within the state, meaning that Iowan poker players would face other Iowan poker players. While poker playing is not technically illegal in the state it is not regulated.
