The WPT LA Poker Classic is over and has a winner. Gregory Brooks is the victor of the latest World Poker Tour L.A. Poker Classic. The 23 year-old from New Jersey moved into the chip lead by the third hand at the final table poker game, and held on to it from there. The poker players tried to hold on but were eliminated by Brooks, who outlasted them all - including poker pros such as Carlos Mortensen. There were 681 players at the Commerce Casino with a $6,537,600 prize pool. Gregory Brooks won $1,654,120
