A new bill is being consered in the United States concering online poker. Should it pass the bill would become law that would be favorable to online poker rooms and players alike. California Republican Congressman John Campbell teamed up with Massachusetts Democratic Congressman Barney Frank in order to introduce what some are calling Reid’s bill 2.0. The bill is similar to Harry Reid’s 2010 poker legislation with a few amendments that make it even friendlier to poker sites. While the initial bill came from Frank it was Campbell who suggested the amendments, making the bill a bi-partisan effort.
